    Стверджувальне речення

    У ствердженні називаємо виконавця та саму дію. Стежте за формою смислового й допоміжного дієслова.

    Формула: Subject + had been + verb-ing

    I had been waiting for an hour.Стверджувальний приклад 1.

    They had been working all day.Стверджувальний приклад 2.

    Заперечне речення

    Для заперечення додаємо not до допоміжного дієслова. Основне дієслово зберігає форму, зазначену в схемі.
