    Стверджувальне речення

    У ствердженні називаємо виконавця та саму дію. Стежте за формою смислового й допоміжного дієслова.

    Формула: Subject + verb in Past Simple

    I visited London last year.Стверджувальний приклад 1.

    She watched a film yesterday.Стверджувальний приклад 2.

    Заперечне речення

    Для заперечення додаємо not до допоміжного дієслова. Основне дієслово зберігає форму, зазначену в схемі.

    Формула: Subject + did not + base verb

    Питальне речення

    У загальному запитанні ставимо допоміжне дієслово перед підметом, а потім використовуємо решту присудка.

    15. After twelve thousand steps, Mia returned home with stories, not just souvenirs.
